For over 28 years, the MendisOne Group has quietly supported communities through various charitable initiatives. Today, we are proud to take that commitment a step further with the establishment of the Darshi and Rohitha Foundation—a dedicated platform created to bring greater structure, focus, and long-term impact to our social responsibility efforts.
The Foundation was built with a simple but powerful purpose: to carry forward a legacy of compassion, service, and responsibility. Guided by the strong values of MendisOne and supported by our Board of Directors, we aim to empower communities and create meaningful, lasting change.
Our work focuses on key areas that shape stronger and more resilient communities. These include education, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, healthcare support, and water, sanitation, and hygiene. While these sectors guide our efforts, our true mission goes beyond projects—we work hand-in-hand with communities to create impact that continues long after a project is completed.
Collaboration remains an important part of how we work. By engaging with experienced organizations and community partners on the ground, we aim to ensure that our initiatives are implemented effectively and deliver sustainable, long-term benefits.
At the Darshi and Rohitha Foundation, we believe that meaningful change requires collaboration, trust, and a shared vision. By working closely with communities and supporters, we strive to deliver projects that are not only impactful but also sustainable and dignified.
As a new entrant to the non-profit sector, we are beginning with a small number of initiatives as we learn, grow, and build our capacity. Our long-term vision is to expand our team, strengthen our programs, and significantly increase our impact in the years and decades ahead.
