Tours Manager

We are seeking a creative and passionate Tours Manager to join and lead our dynamic team to new heights.

We are a vertically integrated business in the service industry sectors including Tourism & Event Management covering all aspects of the industries, offering a range of services, globally. We wish to recruit a high caliber individual with great enthusiasm for the above position.  As our Tours Manager, you will be the orchestrator of extraordinary experiences. You will lead and inspire our tours team, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest service, and consistent delivery of our high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to the Tours and event department, developing and implementing innovative tour programs and marketing strategies.
  • Overseeing all aspects of operations, including itinerary design, supplier management, logistical coordination, and budget control.
  • Ensuring exceptional guest services throughout the entire travel journey, exceeding expectations and fostering positive reviews and repeat business.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hotels, transportation providers, activity operators, and local communities.
  • Analyzing performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
  • Contributing to the company’s overall growth and success by meeting and exceeding sales targets and achieving strategic objectives.


  • Suitable qualifications in travel and tourism Management and/or in a related field   
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inbound travel and tourism industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams, exceeding sales targets, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of Sri Lanka, its diverse destinations, attractions, culture, and history.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and travel industry software.
  • Fluency in English a must.  Additional languages will be a plus.
